Your Impact, With Us
As our Medical Receptionist, you'll be the welcoming face of our clinic and play a vital role in delivering an exceptional patient experience. Combining outstanding customer service with strong administrative skills, you'll support patients throughout their healthcare journey while helping our clinical teams deliver high-quality cardiac care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing professional, compassionate, and friendly service to patients, referrers, and visitors.
- Managing the daily operations of the reception desk, including answering calls, responding to enquiries, and scheduling patient appointments.
- Coordinating consultation, diagnostic testing, and hospital admission bookings while maintaining efficient diary management and clinic utilisation.
- Ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with practice protocols.
- Maintaining patient records with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Supporting the clinical team with ECGs and cardiac monitor fittings (full training will be provided).
- Contributing to a collaborative team environment focused on delivering outstanding patient care and operational excellence.
What You'll Bring
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care and customer service.
- Previous experience in a medical reception, administration, or customer service environment.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a busy team.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A professional and confident phone manner with the ability to manage a variety of patient enquiries.
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn medical practice software.
- Flexibility to travel between our clinics when required (a current driver's licence and reliable vehicle would be advantageous).
