About the opportunity

This is a fixed term vacancy for 12 months with the potential for permanent work.

As our Medium Rigid (MR) Truck Driver in the Bulk team, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!

12 months fixed term with the potential for permanent work
Full-time hours
Monday to Friday roster
7.30am start (approx. 10-12 hour days)
$37.22ph
+ 13% Super
+ Leave entitlements
+ Monthly RDO

You’ll be

Starting at 7.30am
Safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facility.
Completing your own daily vehicle safety check.
Driving our MR trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups.
Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups.

About you

You’re a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player.
You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.

You’ll also need to

Hold a relevant heavy vehicle licence (MR).
Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck.
Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility.
Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills.
You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less.
Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.
