We are looking for a reliable HR Truck Driver to join our waste collection team, operating a rear-lift garbage truck across Melbourne.
Position: Casual / Part-Time
Yard Location: Ravenhall, VIC
Hours: Early morning start – early finish
Saturday availability is essential
About the Role
- Drive a rear-lift waste collection truck
- Collect commercial waste and recycling bins
- Complete scheduled collection routes safely and efficiently
- Carry out basic daily truck checks
- Maintain a professional and friendly approach with customers
- Keep the truck and work area clean and organised
Requirements
- Current HR Driver Licence – essential
- Must be available to work Saturdays
- Reliable and punctual, especially for early morning starts
- Good driving record
- Able to work independently
- Physically fit and comfortable getting in and out of the truck regularly
- Good knowledge of Melbourne roads is an advantage
- Previous waste industry / rear-lift truck experience is highly regarded, but training can be provided for the right person
