Position Title: Lead Implementation Consultant (Data Management & Integration)
Reporting Line: Implementation Manager
Position Purpose:
To provide varying levels of implementation services through leading the client configuration, analysis, validation, project planning and professional consultative services to clients to ensure successful implementation from a data management and integration perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture client requirements, whilst guiding the customer, to ensure a comprehensive and consistent approach that can move seamlessly through the implementation process.
- Provide subject matter expertise in Data Management & Integration to Implementation team.
- Design and build the Data Management & Integration implementation methodology including standard processes and templates to deliver revenue targets and meet client expectations.
- Engage and meet with clients in relation to the escalation and investigation / rectification of issues within timeframes.
- Implement and recommend process improvement initiatives to drive performance.
- Conduct post Implementation reviews, share learnings as part of continuous improvement requirements.
- Maintain current knowledge of technology and legislative developments as they relate to Data Management & Integration.
- Demonstrate high level of customer service across all internal and external stakeholders, in a fast paced and high-pressured environment.
- Ensure cooperation and sharing of skills and expertise.
- Ad-hoc activities as requested
Experience:
- Experience with API, SFTP, flat file, and middleware-based integrations
- Ability to read and validate file layouts, mapping documents, and interface specifications
- Experience troubleshooting integration failures, data mismatches, and downstream impacts
- Strong understanding of UAT, reconciliation, defect tracking, and cutover readiness
- Ability to translate client requirements into scalable integration design decisions
- Experience partnering with technical teams to resolve configuration, connectivity, and data issues
- Experience with Data Management & HRM Platform integration.
- Strong stakeholder management and customer service / client facing consulting experience within an Implementation / Service Delivery environment.
- Demonstrated experience within an Implementation environment, with an excellent understanding of payroll, payroll applications, time & attendance and processing.
- Experience with project management methodology, with demonstrated success in previous roles.
- Demonstrated understanding of ADP management systems or corporate enterprise reporting systems, e.g. CRM.
- Experience with the ‘build and configuration’ of products/systems.
- Strong ability to identify client risks and provide options for resolution.
- Proven experience in data mapping, data conversion and data integrity.
- Advance understanding of interface technologies and data exchange between payroll and third-party systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle etc).
- Experience in Microsoft applications such as MS Project, Word and Excel.
- Experience working within a matrix organisation for a US owned organisation preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working on multiple projects, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise work, in accordance to tight deadlines and pressure
Certifications / Qualifications:
Tertiary qualification with a business-related field, or Information Technology.
Proven experience in a similar role may be taken in lieu of formal qualification.
Project Management certification ideal.
