Become the Technical Specialist Behind Our Blow Moulding Operation
Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician with specialist blow moulding expertise who wants to take ownership of critical equipment, lead major maintenance activities and help drive manufacturing performance?
Nu-Pure Beverages is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician (Blow Moulding Specialist) to join our Truganina manufacturing team. This is a hands-on technical role focused on maintaining, optimising and improving our blow moulding equipment while supporting the ongoing reliability and performance of our manufacturing operation.
Working Monday to Friday on day shift, you will play a key role in commissioning new bottles, creating and optimising bottle recipes, leading planned shutdowns and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will provide specialist maintenance support across our manufacturing operation, with a strong focus on blow moulding equipment and associated production assets.
You will take ownership of equipment reliability, support production performance, lead major preventative maintenance activities and act as a key technical resource within the Maintenance team.
This role does not have direct reports but requires a senior technician who can lead by example, take ownership of technical outcomes and work collaboratively across Maintenance and Production teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintaining and optimising blow moulding equipment to maximise reliability, efficiency and plant performance.
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Prioritising breakdown repairs to minimise production downtime.
- Leading shutdowns, overhauls and preventative maintenance activities.
- Commissioning new bottle formats and supporting production start-ups.
- Creating, adjusting and optimising bottle recipes to improve bottle quality, machine performance and production efficiency.
- Managing spare parts requirements for blow moulding equipment, planned shutdowns and preventative maintenance activities.
- Working closely with Production teams to identify opportunities to improve equipment capability and operational performance.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operation.
- Maintaining maintenance records, work orders and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with workplace health and safety, quality, GMP and food safety requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Maintenance.
- Current Restricted Electrical Licence or higher.
- Minimum 5 years' experience within FMCG, beverage, food manufacturing or other high-speed automated manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting blow moulding equipment.
- Proven experience commissioning new bottle formats and production start-ups.
- Experience creating, modifying and optimising bottle recipes.
- Demonstrated experience leading shutdowns, overhauls and preventative maintenance activities.
- Strong fault-finding capability across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Experience working with PLC-controlled and automated production equipment.
- Experience managing critical spare parts and maintenance requirements.
- Strong understanding of preventative maintenance principles and equipment reliability.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with site stakeholders.
- Commitment to workplace safety, food safety and quality standards.
