Full Job Description

Sunshine Coast Health - Mental Health & Specialised Services is seeking experienced Clinical Nurses to join our Mental Health & Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Community Services in a range of rewarding community-based roles.

These opportunities suit nurses with experience in acute mental health, community case management, older persons mental health, or AOD services, who hold current AHPRA registration and have a minimum of three years relevant mental health nursing experience. You will bring strong clinical judgement, a compassionate and recovery-oriented approach, and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred, solution-focused care.

Position details:
Status: Temporary (short and long-term) or Casual
Employment type: Flexible full-time, flexible part-time (Monday to Friday/Extended Hours/Shift Work)

Key Responsibilities include:
Practice autonomously and provide leadership in clinical decision making to give and/or coordinate care to particular recipients of healthcare services.
Work collaboratively to create a positive practice environment that achieves best practice outcomes for recipients of healthcare services.
Maintain the safety of recipients of healthcare services by identifying risk and undertaking safe work activities within the clinical practice environment.
Participate with other members of the healthcare team in providing support and mentorship.

Comprising salary rates: $57.48 - $61.55 p.h. (part time) or $4 368.80 - $4 678.10 p.f (full time), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 6 (1).
