We're excited to welcome a Nurse Unit Manager Simulation Interprofessional Education (SIM IPE) to our Sunshine Coast Health SIM IPE team.
This position will provide leadership and training expertise in the delivery of evidence-based, high-quality simulation education. The role leads a specialist simulation interprofessional education team, with a focus on enhancing patient safety, and promoting effective, team-based approaches to patient-centred care through simulation-based training. You will be accountable for providing strategic leadership to ensure sustainability of simulation across Sunshine Coast Health, including staff upskilling and capability development, SIM IPE equipment management, monitoring and maintenance, along with budget management of SIM IPE team and resources.
The Nurse Unit Manager SIM IPE reports to the Director of Clinical Training as Line Manager, the SIM IPE Medical Lead as Operational and Strategic lead, and Nursing Director Education as Professional lead.

Applies professional and clinical expertise in collaboration with nursing and midwifery and multi-disciplinary stakeholders.
Remuneration value up to $174 208 p.a., comprising salary between $140632- $152 685 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HNRG7).
