Primary objective
As part of a team provide best practice professional records management and registry service and administrative support in relation
to travel, accounts payable and general office support management to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) staff, clients and
stakeholders.

Key duties and responsibilities
1. Provide a records management service, advice and information to DPP staff.
2. Maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and quality of case and records data within Axon Justice, Resolve, IJIS, and other associated

information management systems. Prepare and maintaining court lists for prosecution cases.
3. Build and maintain productive relationships with a range of stakeholders, external agencies, and outside organisations to assist

in the smooth day to day operations of the agency’s activities and represents the office in a professional manner.
4. Coordinate travel and administrative activities in accordance with NT Government policies, procedures and relevant legislative

requirements to ensure efficient and compliant business operations.
5. Process invoices, maintain accounts payable records, and administer procurement and approval workflows in compliance with

NTG financial policies, agency delegations ensuring accuracy, accountability and audit readiness.

Selection criteria
Essential
1. Demonstrated ability to provide effective records and information management services, including the creation, maintenance,

tracking, retrieval, archiving, and disposal of prosecution case files and associated records.
2. Good knowledge of contemporary records and information management policies, procedures and processes.
3. Proven experience coordinating accounts payable, travel, procurement processes, and financial workflows with strong

attention to accuracy and compliance. including interpretation and application of legislative, policy and delegated authority
requirements.

4. Sound interpersonal skills together with good oral and written communication skills to be able to communicate effectively with
the public, peers and a range of stakeholders.

5. Demonstrated organisational skills with a proven ability to determine workload priorities, meet stringent deadlines, display
sound professional ethics such as confidentiality and discretion and a capacity to work under pressure with minimum
supervision.

6. High level of computer literacy and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications and legal administration including
expertise in document and file management and other electronic record management packages.

7. An ability to interact effectively with people of diverse cultures and hold a current NT driver’s licence.

Desirable
1. Good understanding of the operational environment in which the DPP functions, including key stakeholders, legislative

obligations, and criminal justice sector relationships.
2. Understanding of cultural diversity, social inclusion principles, and the differing needs and expectations of clients and

stakeholders across urban, regional, and remote communities within the Northern Territory.
