If you have a sharp eye for detail and enjoy working behind the scenes to keep a service department running smoothly, this Warranty Clerk role at Frizelle Sunshine Automotive in Southport could be exactly what you have been looking for.

About the role:

Working within a busy Warranty team, you will play a key part in making sure warranty claims are processed accurately and on time, giving technicians and service advisors the support they need to deliver great outcomes for customers.

Your day-to-day will include:

Processing warranty claims through manufacturer portals, building your knowledge of multiple vehicle brands and their specific requirements
Reviewing job cards for accuracy before submission, so your attention to detail directly reduces rejections and rework
Following up on outstanding claims and credits, keeping the department's revenue cycle moving efficiently
Liaising with service advisors and technicians to gather documentation, putting you at the centre of a collaborative team
Reconciling warranty receivables and identifying discrepancies early, giving you real visibility over the financial health of the department
Keeping up to date with manufacturer warranty policies as they evolve, adding to your expertise over time

About You:

You are organised, methodical, and comfortable working with numbers and systems in a dealership environment.

More about you:

Previous experience in a warranty, service administration, or automotive dealership role is highly regarded
Confident using dealer management systems, with the ability to pick up new software quickly
Strong communication skills mean you can work effectively with both workshop staff and manufacturer representatives
A thorough approach to data entry and claim documentation, because accuracy here has a direct impact on the dealership's bottom line
Able to manage competing deadlines without letting the details slip
