Planet Royale is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join the team at our venue in Northbridge, Perth, Western Australia.

Located in the heart of Northbridge, we deliver an immersive experience with bold food offerings, high-energy entertainment, and a vibrant social atmosphere. From casual dining and events to live shows and private functions, Planet Royale is a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

We are currently hiring for the following Kitchen role: CHEF

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a full-time Chef position based in Northbridge, Perth, Western Australia.

The successful applicant will assist in managing kitchen operations, preparing and cooking menu items to a consistent standard, and supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods.

SALARY (PLUS SUPERANNUATION)

$80,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS)

AQF Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent recognised overseas qualification)
Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience as a Chef
Demonstrated experience working in a commercial kitchen environment
Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented kitchen environment
Capacity to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment
Strong organisational and time management skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with Planet Royale recipes and standards
Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen
Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
Assist with stock rotation, stock control, and ordering
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and venue management
Assist with kitchen preparation and service during peak periods
Support efforts to minimise food waste and maintain cost control
