Planet Royale is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join the team at our venue in Northbridge, Perth, Western Australia.

We are currently hiring for the following Kitchen role: CHEF
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a full-time Chef position based in Northbridge, Perth, Western Australia.
The successful applicant will assist in managing kitchen operations, preparing and cooking menu items to a consistent standard, and supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods.
SALARY (PLUS SUPERANNUATION)
$80,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS)
- AQF Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent recognised overseas qualification)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience as a Chef
- Demonstrated experience working in a commercial kitchen environment
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented kitchen environment
- Capacity to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with Planet Royale recipes and standards
- Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist with stock rotation, stock control, and ordering
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and venue management
- Assist with kitchen preparation and service during peak periods
- Support efforts to minimise food waste and maintain cost control
