Casual Landscape Construction Teacher TAFE Queensland Gold Coast

We are seeking a Casual Landscape Construction Teacher to join our team at the Ashmore campus. This is an exciting opportunity to share your industry knowledge and practical skills in a hands-on learning environment while helping students develop the capabilities they need for successful careers in landscaping.

As part of a team of dedicated educators, you will deliver engaging, industry-relevant training, mentor future landscape professionals, and contribute to high-quality vocational education across the Gold Coast. What You'll Do

Deliver outcome-focused vocational education and training aligned to national training packages
Lead engaging teaching and learning across classroom, practical, workplace and online environments
Design and implement industry-relevant assessment tools and practices
Support student progression through feedback, mentoring and inclusive teaching approaches
Maintain currency in landscape construction industry practices and teaching methodologies
Contribute to continuous improvement and quality assurance activities
Promote safe work practices, sustainability and positive learning environments
Build strong relationships with students, industry and stakeholders

What You'll Bring

Strong knowledge of national training packages and accredited courses
Ability to deliver engaging, practical and industry-relevant training
Excellent communication, teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills
Commitment to continuous professional development
A student-centred, inclusive approach and understanding of safe work practices

What You'll Need (Mandatory Qualifications / Requirements)

Certificate III in Landscape Construction (AHC30921) or equivalent/higher.
TAE40122 / TAE40116 / TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or Training Design and Development; or
Higher-level adult education qualification approved by TAFE Queensland.
Current industry skills directly relevant to landscape construction.
