About the role
We’re looking for an AI Engineer to help build the next generation of AI solutions across our business.
Working closely with stakeholders across Repurpose It, you’ll design, build and maintain AI-powered applications, automations and integrations that improve the way we work. You’ll take approved AI use cases and turn them into practical, scalable solutions that deliver real business value.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be developing production-ready applications, building intelligent workflows and integrating AI technologies into existing business systems. You’ll have the opportunity to work with modern AI platforms and cloud technologies while helping shape the future of AI at Repurpose It.
This is a full-time on-site role, based in Essendon Fields.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain AI-powered applications and business solutions.
- Develop automations, intelligent workflows and system integrations.
- Build production-ready backend and frontend solutions.
- Configure and optimise AI platforms including Microsoft Copilot, Claude and Azure AI services.
- Develop integrations using APIs, Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 technologies.
- Work with Azure, Databricks, LLMs and RAG
- Test, troubleshoot and deploy AI solutions into production environments.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and AI.
About you:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related (Preferred)
- Experience in software engineering, AI, automation or application development.
- Experience building software applications, automations or system integrations.
- Exposure to Azure, Microsoft technologies, Databricks or similar cloud platforms.
- Experience or knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG or AI application development.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, JavaScript or similar.
- Comfortable working independently, managing multiple projects and delivering practical solutions.
- Curious, proactive and passionate about emerging AI technologies and solving real business problems.
