The Opportunity (About the Role)

As an Occupational Therapist with OT For Us, you will have the exciting opportunity to:

Provide evidence based occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of NDIS funded clients aged 3 to 25 years, including those on the Autism Spectrum and other developmental conditions.
Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop client centred goals, and implement engaging therapy interventions across clinic, home, school and community settings throughout Melbourne.
Complete clinical documentation including assessment reports, NDIS review reports, therapy plans and session notes.
Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, support coordinators, and other stakeholders regarding client progress and therapy recommendations.
Collaborate with other allied health professionals to support positive outcomes for children and families.
Manage your own schedule with flexibility and professional autonomy.

Industry Low KPI Expectations

Approximately 25 billable hours per week, travels and notes writing time included!
KPI expectations significantly lower than many community and NDIS providers
Focus on quality therapy and clinical outcomes rather than high volume caseloads
Performance bonuses available for clinicians who exceed KPI targets (you get 30% of your above KPI hours)

What You’ll Bring (Requirements)

Essential Criteria

A Bachelor or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an AHPRA approved university
Current AHPRA registration, or eligibility for registration upon graduation
Current Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Current Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain them promptly
Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one promptly
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a supportive team environment

Desirable Criteria

Previous paediatric experience
Understanding of the NDIS framework
