Full Job Description

Looking for a hands-on role with variety, career development, and the opportunity to work on major construction projects? Join Boral as a Concrete Field Tester and play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of concrete products used in residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects across Victoria.

Based in Deer Park, you'll work closely with our operations teams, conducting on-site testing and quality assurance activities that help deliver safe, reliable, and high-performing concrete solutions.

Whether you're an experienced tester or looking to start a rewarding technical career, we'll provide training, support, and development opportunities to help you succeed.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Concrete Field Tester, you'll be responsible for collecting samples, conducting testing, and ensuring our concrete products meet strict quality standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Sampling fresh concrete at customer sites and Boral operations
Conducting field and laboratory testing in accordance with industry standards and testing procedures
Accurately recording and reporting test results
Calibrating and maintaining testing equipment
Supporting safe laboratory and field operations
Assisting with quality assurance activities and other duties as required

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who enjoys working independently,

You'll ideally have:

Experience in field testing, laboratory testing, construction materials, or a related industry (preferred but not essential)
Computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Flexibility to work shifts and weekends alongside operational teams
A strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement
