Executive Assistant

Our Opportunity

Work Location: Perth. Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people

Fortescue is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to support a newly promoted Director who leads a large, global team.

This is a career-defining opportunity for a highly capable professional who thrives in fast-moving environments, anticipates needs before they arise, and brings precision, discretion and professionalism to everything they do.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Deliver high-level executive and administrative support, including personal assistance to senior leaders
Manage complex and constantly evolving calendars, travel coordination, meetings and logistics
Act as a trusted point of contact, managing competing priorities and responding with professionalism and urgency
Coordinate inbox management, draft correspondence and prepare executive communications
Support accounts payable processes including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier invoices, expense claims and reconciliations
Prepare and coordinate board papers, executive briefs, presentations and internal reports
Assist in the preparation of board recommendations, legal briefs, commercial summaries and strategic background materials
Conduct research, consolidate information and support leadership decision-making with high-quality insights and documentation

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for professionals who bring sound judgement, initiative and the ability to operate confidently in a fast-paced corporate environment.

You will ideally have:

Significant experience in an Executive Assistant, Corporate Support or similar senior administrative role supporting executives within a corporate environment
Proven ability to handle confidential and commercially sensitive information with discretion and integrity
Outstanding organisational skills with a proactive approach, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a polished and professional approach
Advanced proficiency across Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
A flexible and adaptable mindset, with the ability to work outside standard hours and travel occasionally when required
