The Mount Private Hospital is currently seeking a professional and customer focused Supply Officer to join their busy team of professionals on a full-time basis.
Reporting directly to the Supply Team Leader, this position is responsible for assisting with the supply management of the hospital. The position also includes handling supply & imprest queries as well as general duties in our logistics area.

Located near King’s Park, Mount Private Hospital is Western Australia’s leading private provider of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery supported by the largest private Critical Care Unit (CCU). While we’re at the heart of private cardiac services in our state, with 224 beds, we bring the same clinical excellence to other specialities such as orthopaedics, neurosurgery, vascular surgery, and general surgery.
Mount Private Hospital is supported by a state executive team, our corporate services team and the Healthscope network.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect and verify all incoming supplies, equipment and deliveries at the loading dock

Process receivables including matching deliveries to purchase orders and invoices

Manage daily warehouse operations including stocking, organising and maintaining inventory accurately to health and safety standards

Conduct regular stock counts and audits to verify accuracy, identify discrepancies and manage expiries

Rotate stock to minimize waste from expired products and ensure oldest usable items are used first. Report any damaged, faulty, or recalled items and assist with the quarantine process

Support periodic stocktakes
Essential Criteria:

Demonstrated experience in inventory, stores, supply chain pr procurement operations, preferably within a healthcare environment

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines

Proven ability to maintain accurate stock control, ordering and inventory records

Well-developed computer-skills, including experience with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in stock management and documentation

Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements nd safe manual handing practices

Commitment to providing high-quality customer service and supporting efficient hospital operations.
