What you’ll do

As our Business Systems & Support Officer, you’ll be the friendly expert who helps our Housing and Asset Management teams get the most out of the systems they use every day.

You’ll make sure our tools are reliable, easy to use, and designed around real-world needs.

This is a hands-on, people-focused role where you’ll connect with staff, spot opportunities for improvement and help shape better ways of working.

You don’t need to be an IT specialist - just someone who loves helping others get the best out of technology.

You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:

Being the go-to person for staff who need support or advice using our housing management systems
Helping plan and deliver new system features and improvements that make everyone’s job easier
Translating user feedback into practical system changes
Keeping our guides, instructions and FAQs clear and up to date
Testing new features and working with teams to make sure they run smoothly
Preparing simple progress updates that show what’s working well and where we can improve
Thinking ahead to prevent problems before they arise

A Day in the Life: Business Systems & Support Officer at Believe Housing Australia

Start your day by reviewing CX issue tickets and reach out to staff to understand their CX enquiries, working through how to resolve them.

Troubleshoot quick fixes where possible and dig deeper into more complex challenges to uncover lasting solutions.

Work with internal IT teams regarding requirements for our system and ongoing needs. Liaise with our vendor to resolve technical issues and to continue shaping the system to meet our business needs.

You’ll collaborate with the Business Improvements team to enhance the working experience for the entire Believe Housing team.

By enabling smoother workflows and more efficient tools, you’ll empower frontline teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused support to those in our community who need it most.

Head home with a sense of accomplishment that your work has directly shaped how we deliver better housing outcomes across South Australia.

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:

Proven experience supporting or managing enterprise-level software applications
A track record of coordinating or delivering successful projects
Strong skills in system configuration, troubleshooting, and problem-solving
Confident communication and a customer-first mindset
High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

We would also love you to have:

Knowledge of social or affordable housing
Background in property management or community services
Familiarity with change management and user training approaches
