Our market-leading portfolio will have over 40 brands including Jim Beam® and Maker’s Mark® Bourbon, Hibiki® Japanese Whisky, Canadian Club® Whisky, -196, V Energy, Maximus and Suntory BOSS Coffee. As One Suntory, we will be positioned as the fourth largest beverage player in the region, ready to ignite the category, creating more beverage moments from sunrise to sunset. Together, we will bring the best of Suntory to Oceania.

The Opportunity

As the Quality Specialist you will play an important role in driving the quality culture for our brand-new state-of-the-art beverage manufacturing and distribution facility. You will enable our quality at source functions completed by the manufacturing team from raw materials and blending processes through to filling and packaging of finished goods, ensuring that the inputs and outputs meet specification. The role supports the site Quality Management System including microbiological testing, hygiene and GMP in accordance with the approved standards and work practices.

What you’ll be doing

Support problem solving sessions where quality can add value.

Auditing QC, Quality systems and benchmarking quality performance.

Support the non-conformance processes including product release.

Review of raw material COA’s and delivery inspections.

Conduct GMP and GLP audits across site.

Work alongside the manufacturing team to implement and improve quality and food safety including microbiological performance activities.

Support training of manufacturing team in routine analytical and microbiological methods.

Experience that you will bring:
As well as a positive can-do attitude you will demonstrate:
Degree or Diploma level qualification in science or equivalent discipline

Knowledge of ISO/GLP and hygiene principles in manufacturing

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Well- developed change management skills

Experience in food safety standards
