Support modular projects, delivering accurate pricing, scopes, and competitive tenders across sales and hire lines - Rockingham Location

About us:
Ausco Modular is one of Australia’s leading providers of transportable hire and modular construction solutions. We’ve been delivering innovative modular designs for over 60 years, supporting major projects in infrastructure, education, and construction.

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Estimator to support both sales and hire business lines across modular manufacturing and construction projects.

In this role, you will deliver timely and accurate pricing, develop clearly defined scopes of work, and ensure seamless integration between factory and on-site components. You will work closely with Sales, Design, Manufacturing, and Construction teams to produce high-quality, competitive quotes, tenders, and bills of materials (BOMs).

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate specifications, scopes of work, and estimates based on drawings and client requirements
Define factory vs. site components and ensure compliance with codes and standards
Develop and maintain project-specific materials, labour routes, and documentation systems
Interpret technical specifications, tenders, and building drawings in line with company standards
Liaise with engineers, certifiers, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to support project delivery
Drive innovation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

About You:

Tertiary qualification in Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent
Experience creating and editing BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and BOMs (Bill of Materials) within the building industry
Demonstrated experience preparing estimates across the full construction project lifecycle, from concept and design through to delivery and project completion
Proficient technical experience with CostX
Experience with BIM design & drafting systems
Ability to read architectural documentation and drawings
Sound knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and construction compliance requirements
