About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Estimator to support both sales and hire business lines across modular manufacturing and construction projects.
In this role, you will deliver timely and accurate pricing, develop clearly defined scopes of work, and ensure seamless integration between factory and on-site components. You will work closely with Sales, Design, Manufacturing, and Construction teams to produce high-quality, competitive quotes, tenders, and bills of materials (BOMs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate specifications, scopes of work, and estimates based on drawings and client requirements
- Define factory vs. site components and ensure compliance with codes and standards
- Develop and maintain project-specific materials, labour routes, and documentation systems
- Interpret technical specifications, tenders, and building drawings in line with company standards
- Liaise with engineers, certifiers, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to support project delivery
- Drive innovation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivilent
- 5+ years’ experience creating and editing BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and BOMs (Bill of Materials), cost plans within the building industry
- Minimum 3 years’ technical experience with CostX
- Experience with BIM design & drafting systems (Autodesk Revit & CostX highly desirable)
- Ability to read architectural documentation and drawings and knowledge of building regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
