About the role
As our Nurse Unit Manager , you'll be the clinical leader responsible for driving high-quality care while creating a positive, supportive environment for residents, families and staff.
You'll mentor and develop your team, champion best-practice clinical care, and help shape a culture where people thrive.
You'll be responsible for:
Leading and inspiring a multidisciplinary clinical team
Delivering safe, person-centred care aligned with Aged Care Quality Standards
Coaching, mentoring and developing nurses and care staff
Monitoring resident outcomes and coordinating clinical interventions
Ensuring accurate clinical documentation and compliance
Driving quality improvement, audits and risk management initiatives
Building trusted relationships with residents, families, GPs and allied health professionals
Supporting funding assessments and clinical reporting
Promoting a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, respect and excellence
About you
You're an experienced Registered Nurse leader who enjoys bringing out the best in others while delivering exceptional resident care.
You'll have:
Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
Minimum two years' experience in a Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Care Manager or similar leadership role within aged care
Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and contemporary clinical practice
Proven experience leading, coaching and developing multidisciplinary teams
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
A genuine passion for person-centred aged care and continuous improvement
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
