THE ROLE
As Maintenance Officer at Strathalan, you'll take ownership of the preventative and reactive maintenance that keeps our retirement living community safe, functional and welcoming.
Complete preventative and reactive maintenance works in a timely, well-documented manner
Manage and maintain Essential Services Maintenance (ESM) systems and requirements onsite
Coordinate and follow up contractor work, ensuring it's completed to a high standard and fair market rate
Liaise professionally with residents, families, staff and contractors day to day
Keep accurate records and report on works performed in line with policy and compliance standards
Look after tools, equipment and site safety, reporting hazards and defects as they arise

ABOUT YOU
You don't need retirement living or aged care experience to succeed here. Just the right hands-on skills and the right attitude.
Trade certificate or equivalent, or at least 5 years' experience in a similar maintenance role
Experience in building construction and maintenance
Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating contractors
Comfortable using MS Office and basic workplace systems
A current driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle
Full working rights in Australia and a satisfactory National Crime Check (or willingness to obtain)
Construction Induction (White/Red) Card and Test & Tag certification highly regarded
