About Us

The Hotel Windsor is an iconic Australian hotel embodying the architecture and elegance of a European style 'Grand Hotel', situated on Spring Street and located at the 'Paris' end of Melbourne. Inside, you will find the Cricketers Bar, a popular watering hole through the ages. Stepping into the authentic atmosphere of a classic Australian pub, guests can enjoy a menu offering of beloved pub favourites and a large selection of tap beers. Perfectly situated near the MCG, it becomes a favourite haunt before local footy matches, and inside, cricket enthusiasts can admire a remarkable collection of cricketing memorabilia courtesy of the Melbourne Cricket Club.

The Opportunity  

Join our team! We’re on the lookout for Part-Time Bar staff to bring energy, personality, and professionalism to our vibrant, pub-style venue. If you’ve got great people skills, a passion for drinks, and love creating good vibes, we want to meet you.

Our successful candidate will have:

Proven experience as a Bartender in a bar, pub, or gastro pub environment.
Strong understanding of a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.
A passion for food and beverage, with a genuine commitment to crafting memorable guest experiences.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members
Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation behind the bar.
Familiarity with cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
A current Victoria Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
