The management is absolutely appalling. I applied for this job after seeing it advertised on seek with no experience required. This was my first call centre job, and they were well aware of it, but on my FOURTH DAY, I was fired for failing to meet these unrealistic KPI's. I

It's not like I got no one to increase their donations and instead ended up getting 24 people to increase their donations over the course of three days, totalling over $2700 in yearly donations or $270 a month, but it wasn't enough.

I was given a notice for improvement but wasn't even given a sufficient time to improve considering it was my first sales job and was fired three hours later because I wasn't meeting the KPIs. I'm extremely disappointed because at first I thought it was a fantastic place to work, with fantastic pay, but now I realise it was far from that. I really hope that no one else ends up wasting their time here like I did.

Also I did some research on the company and discovered that I am not alone, and that this company has a long history of extremely high turnover as they are constantly hiring and firing a large number of people for not meeting unrealistic kpi's, only keeping 1-2 employees in the process with, you guessed it, decades of sales experience despite advertising that none is required.

A typical day involves calling up people, often vulnerable people, making friends with them, and then asking/pushing them for monthly donations. There is not any real transparency from the organisations where the money actually is going among other things. They expect you to sign up at least 3 people a day and if you don't they will send you out the door quickly. They put your sales all down to personal responsibility but I think luck is also involved, some people will never give you money over the phone, some already wanted to donate so your call reminds them. It had its fun moments but I found the job overly stressful because of the job insecurity and constantly seeing team members fired. Also, the pay is too low, they have a bonus scheme but of course, you get taxed a lot on it and it's still not adequate. The company does have good company culture and does try to positively encourage people to believe in themselves. Overall it's an ok job to try out something different but I don't think many people have longevity with it so good luck. 

Would not recommend anyone apply for a job here. Co-workers are very friendly, however management are very toxic. Super unrealistic KPIs even in your "training period".  They interview people every week to replace those they fired the week before. No room for improvement as they would rather fire you than properly train you. Very unprofessional office as it was very loud with everyone clapping every 5-10 mins. Customers on phones constantly complaining about the background noise. Absolutely no job security and you feel anxious and on edge every second you're there. They will fire you as soon as you come in to start your shift, or even when you come back in from lunch with no warning.

very very little. I dont have anything.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
the boss, team leaders, being on the verge of being fired every two days.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
awful people went to cry in the bathrooms because it was so awful.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
ridiculous team meeting with strange clapping games, then calling 15 min break, more calling, lunch, more clapping, calling, break, calling, home.

very strange  environment...management is out to get what they can out of the public...no transparency and I will never recommend the company..people in management want to get as much as they can from the public...instead of giving people as much info to make the decision, they are in it for the quick sale

Would not recommend anyone apply for a job here. There are some really nice people who work here but there is unfortunately a toxic culture generated from upper management and owners that makes working for Raisers Hub a nightmare. Recommend getting employment elsewhere.

Staff turnover is unbelievable- I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Management treat everyone like they're still in preschool. It's an absolutely toxic place 

Everyone was welcoming! But not the nicest job. For me, telefundraising isn’t for me but I did like the atmosphere! Very high staff turnover. Was thrown into the calls on the second day of training so I think more training could be done there! 

One of the most toxic environments i’ve ever worked in. You will be put on the phones on your first day of training and you will be sacked on your 4th if you’re not getting any

nice office, clean toilet. office located near a supermarket. enjoyable work and no overtime work. have dining area inside. downside is cant play phone
