Every shift allocated to myself whether it involves general medical/surgical area or mental health, I strive to be the best nurse I can be by following all policies, procedures and guidelines, giving all care given to the highest of my ability as per care plan for each individual patient. Adjusting time and work load efficiently to meet all patient, staff and cooridinator requisites and apply ally knowledge, respect and dignity to all my daily activities.

When I first started working with this agency, then known as Healthstra Nursing Agency, it was a very positive experience.  The company was relatively small and interested in its employees. We received incentives such as free trips, tickets to sporting events etc.

Before long however it was incorporated into a larger group of agencies and changed its name to Nursing Australia.  Incentives ceased and work became more scarce, possibly also due to a new government ruling making it more difficult for hospitals to employ agency staff.

I volunteered at the local nursing home for a term, and I must say it was quite an experience. As I was young at the time, (Year 10) I felt that in the beginning, the nursing home staff were eager to introduce us the the environment and make us feel comfortable. As the weeks went on, the staff got 'less bothered' so to speak, which is understandable as nursing homes are busy environments. Making the residents happy was very rewarding, however at times, they simply dumped us with a resident and left. Personally however, I think it was a positive learning experience.

My review is that when I get up in the morning I check my log to see if work is available or I ring in. I do get to work with diffirent people but the hardest it part of the job is I do not stay long enough to be working along side the co-workers and to make a friendship with the staff that work within the facility.
The most enjoyable part is I helped who needed the care and I always makes me feel good.

I've never worked in a Nursing Agency before, but I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience working here. Plenty of shifts available, staff are outstanding and always willing to support your work/life balance. A minimum of 3 years ward experience is recommended because you really have to know what you're doing in order to survive as an Agency RN.

Working for Nursing Australia was on of my fondest experiences.

A mostly happy enjoyable period. I always had plenty of work.
I think when people are good in their work and enjoy doing what they do it shows and rubs of on others. People want to be around you and encourages team-work

I enjoy working within the aged care sector.It is very rewarding.Listening to their stories about their lives and what they done.And achieved.The 3rs programme is a fun programme for both the clients and workers.

Was always busy with work,they understood my needs always made sure I had easy transport to get around to work places and home, they had on sites training as well, really miss working with them
