Typical day at work:
•	Administrative duties and for the Logistics department along with data entry and customer service with high attention to detail.
•	Understanding various election materials and documents as well as processing the requisitions using the web-based system ‘MarkitForce’.
•	Communication via emails and phone with the Election Managers and Support Officers for requirements of the Voting Centers across New South Wales. 
•	Coordination with the warehouse and supply managers for election materials, delivery and stock availability.
•	Understanding the election process with high accuracy and supporting the election managers as required.

Required to work in a fast paced environment which I was able to do.  Management were helpful and answered all relevant questions professionally.  

Great location with onsite car parking space. Shift hours fitted okay with my TAFE course.  

Hardest part of the job was when the ballot papers were torn and unreadable also when we picked up work from other shifts and the batches were not correct, we had to re-do the counting all over again. Some boxes had incorrect labels and numbers.

Best part of the job was the team leader was understanding and made sure we had our breaks on time.

Tea, Coffee and buiscuts were provided.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The fellow helpful, knowledgeable and personable workers. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
People put in a position of authority without the interpersonal and knowledge skills. They were placed above the expertise. And/or they treated staff with disrespect. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Overall, outside the office good. Inside, mostly good with a few in authority out of their interpersonal skills depth. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy. Rewarding. Heart breaking.

The hardest part is repetitive works like data entry.  But, everyone  takes turn to do a variety of works including data entry, batching, sorting and extraction manual operations work.

Whilst working as extraction manual operator, I learnt to work in cooperation with other team member in order to get job done.
Jobs need to be done in accuracy rather than speed, thus workplace atmosphere is fun and relax. 

I like working at the place because I meet a lot of people from different background.

Fun yet busy place to work. 
People from all ages & walks of life working as one. Such a great vibe. Working 8-10 hours per day. 
Loved every minute of it, because the people you work with make it that much better.
Only downside was the lack of cleaning facilities in the kitchen, and no paper towels rails in the woman's toilet.


2 State  Elections working for NSWEC was good for phone calling and Ballot counting. Last year the team was very helpful and cooperative. This year's Council election at Bankstown Multilingual had to be the worst the staff and RO boss have no clue on what they are doing at work. They have the worst roster, plus they are the worst bullies i have ever met.

All the executives Director is valued the employee without seeing all the background. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Nothing really, but we all have our own responsibility. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very down to earth environment 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Hybrid 2 days in office and 3 day at home

I did the main election day. While it was a long day, we were rotated in roles ranging from issuing ballot papers, ballot guards, and helping the voters in the queues. So it was never boring. When voting was over, that was when the physically straining part began counting the votes. Despite this, I absolutely love it and would do it all over again. Plus the various managers I have had over the years have all been fantastic!

What is the best part of working at the company?
Good days work for big rewards.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Long day on election day. About 13 hours 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Good. Very organized and relax team 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Guarding ballot box,controlling queues and issuing ballot papers. Counting votes at night
