I have found NNA management & staff to be warm & welcoming. I feel comfortable working with them. I have worked for a couple of other agencies in the past & I currently work for a separate one to NNA, which I've been with for several years. I was told about NNA from another happy employee when I had full time employment. I admit that I was a little nervous to join another agency & initially took 6 month to take the plunge. I was nervous that perhaps I wouldn't get work, or as I've found with other agencies they can be a little painful to deal with when it came to getting the work, then having to deal directly with one staff member due to the team not being efficient. I can say this, the staff are wonderful at NNA, they not only know my name, but they are warm in their interactions, they listen, they don't bother me, if I say I can't work certain days, they don't phone me. If I need work, they find it. They don't send me to distant places or place me inappropriately to my level of skills. They are attentive. When I've asked for certain things, they've managed to do it. I've had not one bad interaction. The senior staff are lovely & the owner is so attentive & professional, in fact, she is hardworking & a great, kind, generous business person. I can't fault them. I have continuous work, I get paid well, I'm not barraged with phone calls at all hours. I have been with NNA now since May 2016 & my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.  Actually, I've even told several friends to join & one did & is very happy.

The Carestaff Team are always there to support and are masters at resolving issues, if they arise, never disregarding personal feelings, and they do it with kindness and sensitivity. The Team are truly the only agency to consider, if you are looking to become an agency nurse, and the variety and coverage of facilities is expansive, from the Gold Coast to Brisbane and beyond. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Carestaff Healthcare Solutions, I have never had a bad experience dealing with this Team.

The interviewer wasn’t the nicest person nor made me excited to get result. She was quite cold and left me in empty room for a lot of the interview. Ended up calling for reference & due to multiple references the referee tried to call back to give me an even more glowing reference but agency was apparently very rude to her too and didn’t want to talk. I got the job, & due to fact I homeschool 2 children and couldn’t work  5 days per week (12.5hr shifts), I got less and less to then 1 shift 1 per week. Ended up joining another agency & got shifts that first choice said weren’t available, but hospital said they had no staff for. Either you work when and where they want or you will be treated like trash.  Another time the call centre didn’t hang up the phone properly after I called and I heard her saying to someone how funny it was she didn’t tell me about available shifts.  Do NOT bother with these people, they are money hungry and greedy and would throw you under a bus in a second. I told them not too politely what to do with their job. DISGUSTING AGENCY!

I love working with Carestaff the staff are friendly and are easy to talk to when you have a problem or you need time off for personal things.
Nothing is to hard to do when they ring you and send you to a job. 
I love that it is a surprise where you go on that day as you are on call. 
If you are not comfortable with the work place you ring up and they will listen to you and sometimes if you are not comfortable with the place they sent you to then they will not send you back. 
If you need them to send some information to your email just ring them and they will send it out straight away and then ring you to ask you if you received it.
I love working for the company as it is owned and run by Nurses just like the staff that go to the hospital and nursing homes, so they know how it all works

I am an international RN that moved to Sydney looking for work, NNA hired me, I did some training with them, and they really helped me get my foot in the door career wise here. While it is agency work - there are highs and lows as far as work availability - but for the most part I had more work opportunities then I wanted to take. I always felt like I had support or someone to call, the director always makes you feel like you can call for anything. There was a wide variety of places to work, so I got experience in multiple areas and hospitals. I really appreciated the experience I had with NNA and am so grateful for my time there!

I had a wonderful experience with CareStaff. 
This is a nursing agency, so they call you for shifts as per your availability. You don't need to worry about your holiday to apply, because you can give them your availability whenever you want to work and you can have day off whenever you want. You can make a great work-life balance with Carestaff! There is no politics with co-workers. The office team (allocation officers) and the management help you with variety of things, especially, when you had problem at work, you can talk with them straight away.
I recommend everyone to join Carestaff.

Very organised Give you your shifts a week or so in advance, so no last minute calls begging you to drop everything at midnight and get a baby sitter, like some other agencies I had worked for in the past! Very helpful. I was sent to work at hospitals, not just nursing homes with my cert III at the time. This led to me gaining work as a General Nurse in "Endoscopy and Day Procedure" for four months at a Private Hospital in Brisbane

As far as I am concerned, is the timing. Sometimes you are not prepared to work that moment and you received a call to cover a shift.

I can say it really good in a sense, they are culturally inclusive in their employment. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day for me has always been normal.

I have been with NNA since 2005 till now, I felt so fortunate and privileged that I was given all the job opportunities that suits my family and other commitments. So many doors were opened for me just being in this agency. Nahid has helped countless hardworking migrants like me who aspire to be in this beautiful country  and valued hard work and dedication of her staff. I am forever grateful.....

I have been working with NNA for about 8 months and I really really love to work with NNA. The management is great. The manager, roster team members, payroll officers, admin and everyone in the NNA are friendly, supportive, collaborative and approachable. They care about staff and always provide professional development opportunities to everyone in the team. The pay rate is great, on time and extremely fair.
