It's a hard working, full speed job with lots  of jobs to be done. You are always on the go and it gets tiring. But it is all well worth it as you get good breaks, the management is great and are so friendly and welcoming. I've got great information on my resume as promoted to a higher role as "Shift lead", this gives me the chance to lead the employees I'm working with and to give be some power and responsibility in the store.  I've made some of my closest friends at work that make it even more enjoyable for me.

Working within Ben and Jerry's was both practical, challenging, and fun. Dealing with a large amount of customers and staff, as the shift leader increased my problem solving and observational skills.  Management was structured however there were alot of staff who would need to pull out quickly, making management quite difficult to sustain. Overall, i worked with some lovely and energetic people within a very much family orientated environment. The most enjoyable part would be the people and ice cream! And the hardest part would be dealing with non professional staff at times. To sum up though it was an enjoyable time!

The job itself is really easy to do, just cleaning and serving customers, but the people in charge of the store often forget that they've hired minors with other commitments. It also seems that they forget that it's just an ice cream shop, not an upscale restaurant. Good luck to the males trying to get a job here because it's not going to happen; females are blatantly preferred. Interactions with the store owners were horrible to say in the least

staff members started out great, then the rumors and bickering started, horrible customer service coming from other staff members, lazy work ethic. disgusting workplace both with co-workers and the cleanliness. The boss is dodgy and and spiteful. dreaded going to work everyday.

Ben & Jerry's was an amazing job to have, for the summer. If you are financially independent, I would recommend to not work in the in-store sector of this job as ice-cream is not very popular in the winter and it gets awfully quiet. Overall good experience!

Really nice work environment, loving team members and management is really understanding and flexible. Always there to help one another if injured as it’s a very hands-on job

Loved meeting new customers and getting to know the regulars as well. The hands on work was always rewarding and high work standards were easily met with the help of other staff.

It was okay for a casual job straight out of high school. Shifts were about 5 hours long, you learn about proper food preparation and sanitization. It was managed adequately, my co-workers were mostly high-school aged teenagers.

This is a really upbeat fun place to work, the pay is relatively fair and you're working in a team environment so it's a good way to make friends. They have a music playlist that plays all day and night so that's not too bad.

Very fun and chill, not much to stress about. You literally just scoop ice cream. If your looking for a job that teaches you stuff, this job helps you with customer service and how to properly treat food. Also a very clean work environment.
