My day consists of daily goals to complete, serving customers, cleaning and maintaining the store throughout the day. I've learned to manage my stress levels as it can become very busy and flustered. I do believe the management of the company can put more effort in the distribution of shifts between the staff members as some are lacking the shifts each week. I would say the hardest part which is quite manageable is the monthly roster, it's hard to maintain although you can plan around shifts. The people working there are the best part.

Having worked with Aussie Disposals for 21 years, I gained a great repore with all Directors and Executive staff.  They were friendly and easy to work with.  

Taking on the reception position enabled me to not only build a repore with supplier representatives, but also with all staff located at our 40 stores Australia wide.

The only reason for leaving was my relocation to Queensland.

The typical work day consisted of assisting various customers from different backgrounds. I learned how to deceive people into buying things they don't need just to appease a collapsing economy that was doomed from the beginning. Ha. Co-workers were fun and kept the atmosphere alive. However, the night shifts were horrendous.

I did work experience at Aussie Disposals and I liked it I got along with the employees and learned how to maintain the shop. I put posters on the windows and cleaned the place, I also got a chance to go in the warehouse and have a look at what they do and it was a good. I liked it.

I am trying to apply for new jobs. If this is posted anonymously, then the point of this is wasted. 
As if Aussie Disposals will care what 'Indeed' thinks about its company. People apply for jobs with Indeed dont even care what Indeed thinks about companies.

The store is easy to work for the people are nice and you can really feel useful while working for Aussie disposals. The business is fair you you can be expected to be paid fairly and on time and the hours are flexible depending on your situation.

It was full of lots of great people but there was a lot of big fish small pond egos about which was not great for suggesting improvement or making and effective change

I work from 9:00 am till 3:30 pm include lunchtime and tea time and I used to pack the boxes an d do pricing on items and cleaning up

Aussies is a fun and supportive work place. they treat their staff with respect and provide all staff with the best possible training so they can give the best customer service.

Every day at Aussie Disposals was fun, we all worked as a team there was always something to do. Was good finding things for people that they really needed or come in looking for.
