Over worked, lack of support for permanent staff with staffing for assessments 
Managers of Fraternities  often not had any experienced in the field they represent therefore not really aware of the complexities of the roles of the educators and their needs
Little support or appreciation for field staff
For casual staff hourly contract hours need to be increased to accommodate the needs of the demanding student population and their complexities in life/study situations

•	Certificate in mandatary reporting
•	Plan and implement developmental programs based on observation of individual children
•	Observe and record children's growth, behaviour and development, and discuss with parents
•	Integrate children with special needs into the program, modifying the program and the physical environment if necessary
•	Prepare play and learning materials and set up the children's environment
•	Supervise children's play, making sure of their physical safety at all times
•	Guide children's behaviour and social development
•	Maintain a safe, clean, appealing environment

A day at work here is very busy, productive and very organised and time managed, i learned how to become part of an administration team and general admin duties.
The management and the co-workers are amongst some of the best people i have had the pleasure of working with very understanding and helpful and exceptional at their jobs.
The hardest part of the job was getting all the work i was learning done within a very small deadline, however the most enjoyable part was being in a work environment again.

Current director & senior manager team in the student experience directorate are leaders in developing a toxic workplace culture. Micromanaging of staff, bulllying, disrespectful of their teams and refusal to be held accountable for their actions. Staff are overworked and not paid appropriately for tasks undertaken, additional work is given on without considering impact on workloads. No support provided from CE, HR or union in addressing issues.

As a lecturer with TAFE found they where unhelpful and set in a culture not suited for general everyday life. 
When trying to do job by dealing with students you where taken away for restructuring meetings which didn't have anything to do with the actual lecturers.

Responsibility for planning and delivering multiple travel and tourism modules and seeing students progress.
Demanding schedule of back to back delivery most days in part-time/casual role
Motivating students who didnt want to be there was challenging and disruptive to other students

I enjoyed working reception at TAFE SA. It was a dynamic environment with challenges that made me use my initiative. I worked at TAFE SA for a total of 5 years and learnt lots about further education and VET in schools. During this time I built positive relationships with lecturers and industry.

TAFE are only interested in the dollars.
You can work your but off, but will not support you.
TAFE has lost it's reputation as a quality institution.
It is not interested in apprentices or employers.
Course costs are ridiculous compared to other providers.
Very insecure employer.
