Your top level managers have had exactly 0 experience on phones in an inbound call center, and it shows badly. You will often find the call returned to you when a manager is called for because they are less than useless. Customer service is kissed goodbye at the door alongside common sense and logical reasoning. 

It was made harder when you had to repeatedly deny people, ignore genuine cries for help, and just become an emotionless husk of a human that somehow is supposed to feel satisfied being paid $2 above absolute minimum wage, despite being a contractor.

You're always on edge about getting fired, it takes one false heartbeat outside if the mechanized process to raise suspicion, and one word off script can see you suspended for "misbehaviour and failing to follow directive"

By far, one of the worst employers I have ever met

Worst place to work , your mental health will be at risk with lots of work pressure . Your self respect will be ruined

Even if you work with all your dedication and knowledge you will always be targeted 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very bad and bias. Favouritism will always take place no matter how talented you are , you will never been considered

This company provides you the necessary tools and training to do your job, reasonably flexible. However, the KPI's are not realistic especially on a software system that has many flaws. The audits conducted are ridiculous and disheartening and you can just tell that it's the job to ensure you don't get that monthly bonus. Unfortunately, it's all about the revenue although they preach an empathetic approach. You are just a number here. However, if you have a good team leader, then it makes life alot easier.

It's a good job if you need quick employment or extra call centre skills. The management is poorly put together with a lot of rumours and passive aggressive bullying of other leadership members. Some staff leaders have advised they have felt harassed to the point they have resigned from the company. There is opportunity for career advancement, however because it is a labour hire company, there a limited opportunites.

Started off well in the first few months but true colors started to come though. Unrealistic KPI,s and being micromanaged made it extremely uncomfortable to do my job to the best of my ability. No help or enough floorwalkers and management where very difficult to ask for help. Very high turnover from other staff for these same reasons

The job was entry level, so no experience was required. The training in the first 2 weeks was an overload, and did not really prepare us for the job ahead. Need to ask questions all the time, and the Team Leader was often busy or not available.

I joined Recoveries Corp as my first role beyond hospitality work which had been my income source since I was a teen. I was placed into a government collections role and to say it triggered my mental health almost daily is far from a stretch. 

Didn't enjoy working there at all. Manager did not have people skills. You felt like you were walking on egg shells. The team environment had no fun in it and was actually demotivating.
