I really enjoyed working at Raine and Horne Lithgow. 
The team was productive, positive, cared about their clientele and extremely welcoming.
 
A typical day at work for me was arriving 8:30 and opening the store. While answering the phones, replying to enquirers via email and walkins. I also assisted the licensee with mainly the property management side of things but I also did assist the principal with sales on occasion. 

 During my time at R&H I learnt a number of skills that I will carry with me thorough out my entire working career such as - 
         - Time management 
         - Strong communication skills (Phone, email and face to face)
         - Strong computer skills
         - Conflict resolution 
         - Professional conduct
                          
 My co-workers were pleasant, professional, committed and always willing to help and assist in my training.

The most difficult part of the job and on occasion there would be a break down in communication within the office. However when this did happen it was easily resolved and procedures were put into place so it was no longer a regular occurrence. 

The most enjoyable part of the job I would say is seeing the business thrive, I gained great satisfaction seeing our team do the best it could and we were receiving the results we wanted.

Check the internet, answer calls, you make lots of sales calls. You are a Receptionist when they need to go to lunch. People come in to pay rent or to rent out a property. Other people come in because their interested in a buying or selling a property, so you need to help them with all of these. Prepare your homes for the open homes on the weekend. Make sure the display properly in the window and in the paper and that they have a fantastic sale sign on them, describing all their bells and whistles and make sure their neatly presented. 
I went out cold calling, which most of them don't do these days, they make phone calls and get their referrals from their open homes and the sales of their homes. Went to head office for Sales Training. Also, they had Team Training at the office.
Don't forget also you had to be a cleaner as well. Keeping the office clean and tidy and vacuum, take out rubbish.

- typical day at work, answering director's phone, taking messages, emails, looking up information, ordering certificates of title, inserting listings on the website, drawing lines and text on photos using Photoshop, database work, sending emails from directors computer on his behalf, whilst he dictated the text, opening directors personal mail and filing his mail. Creating home open signs for director, inserting home open times, printing and laminating signs.  Sending faxes for director, ordering signs from printing company.

obtaining information from dial a dig, as to where one may and may not dig on a building site for sale.

typing up minutes, sending emails, communicating with people on the phone.

My day starts with a good strong coffee, then receipting all the rents from the Trust Acc, attending to the arrears. Taking phone calls & passing on messages happens all day in between my set tasks. Attending to clients who come through the doors, daily, making sure they leave with the information/assistance they came  in for. Assisting my staff where possible. Organising to show purchasers/tenants properties to rent/buy. Giving feedback to owners & vendors.
Prospecting for new properties to rent. The hardest part of the job is evicting tenants.
The most enjoyable part of the job is reconciling the trust account!

Working day was busy and diverse. 
Roles expanded across all aspects of the company. 
There was little face to face training but enough resources for an individual employee to self train.
I learnt a lot about managing different personalities and conflict resolution.
I worked well with other co-workers despite a large turnover in staff.
The hardest part of the job is to be firm but fair on tenants that were not complying and owners that were not reasonable.
The most enjoyable was having a challenging start to a tenancy and ending with a long term productive and working situation.

As a office manager at Raine & Horne, I was taking on 3 roles. The 3 roles I part took on were property management, receptionist & account manager. The hours I worked was from 9-5 mon-fri. I learnt so much about real estate, customer service, business management & how to work In a busy environment on my own. Overall my most enjoyable part of the job & working all together is waking up in the morning, being on time to work, enjoying my job & building a great relationship with clients & customers.

a typical day at work was not always busy as much as i liked it when it was busy because it kept me occupied i always found things to do such a tidy the office do filing sort keys for when agents when out and heaps more 
i learned that there is alot of things you need to keep on top of when a real estate agent and can be dificult at times but always fun because i was learning new things 
everyone i worked with were friendly and fun
the hardest prt would be calling patential tenets and telling them they were not accepted for the house 
and most enjoyable was telling them they were accepted

Great team environment to work with and lot of career development opportunities. Right work/life balance. Continuous challenges keep you motivated and charged to work harder. A great company to work with which deals with people not houses.
Regular training and meetings keep all the team updated with latest trends and market conditions.
Dealing with new customer every time and helping them with their need of buying or selling homes and resolving their problems and looking for solution to their questions. And making sure the customer is happy and satisfied.

A typical day at work would be to unlock all security systems and put all advertising booklets outside.
Turn computer on and answer all emails.
Check all maintenance requests and contact owners and tradespeople.
Conduct routine inspections - so out on the road
Prepare lease agreements and routine inspections for future dates
Conduct arrears records
Input daily transactions/banking
Create invoices
All day answer phones and doing rental receipting

I am the office manger of two Raine & Horne Real Estate Offices, So typical day will involve all staff onsite , all offices operational and functional. Handling HR , annual leave , sick leave and any pay issues , compliant with employment contracts and monitoring our Trust Accounts.
The directors are helpful and supportive. Real Estate is a fast paced industry no two days are the same , you have to be a quick thinker , logical and level headed. Office culture work hard and enjoy yourself , We have balance.
