**Warning to Potential Applicants: A Toxic Work Environment Awaits**

If you're contemplating applying for a position at this company, I urge you to reconsider. My experience has been nothing short of disheartening, and I want to share my insights to help others avoid stepping into a toxic work environment.

From the moment I applied, it quickly became clear that employees are not valued. The hiring process felt disorganized and impersonal, with little regard for potential candidates. Once on board, this disregard only became more apparent. Management's micromanagement style creates a stifling atmosphere where employees are neither trusted nor empowered to do their jobs effectively. Every task is scrutinized, and even the smallest decisions require approval from higher-ups, leading to frustration and a feeling of helplessness.

One of the most concerning aspects of my time with this company was the lack of support during accidents or emergencies. The message from management is clear: if something goes wrong outside of regular hours, you are on your own. This creates an incredibly stressful work environment where employees constantly worry about their decisions and the potential fallout. The absence of after-hours support leaves you feeling isolated and anxious, knowing that you have no one to turn to when issues arise.

If you value a healthy work-life balance, this is not the place for you. The atmosphere is rife with toxicity, and the culture of favoritism is stark. Shifts are handed out based on personal connections rather than merit, making it impossible to rely on management for fair scheduling. Your workload and hours can change from week to week without notice, leaving you feeling like you're at the mercy of a capricious system.

Management's broken promises only deepen the sense of mistrust. Time and time again, I witnessed management making commitments to employees that were never followed up on. It's a common tactic to string employees along, convincing them that things will improve, only to have nothing change. This leads to disillusionment, burnout, and a pervasive feeling of being undervalued.

As if that weren't enough, the lengths management will go to protect their interests are alarming. If you decide to pursue another job opportunity, expect management to retaliate in subtle but damaging ways. They may spread negative feedback about your performance, regardless of your actual contributions, in an attempt to sabotage your career so that you feel obligated to stay. This hostile approach fosters an environment of fear, where employees feel trapped and unable to move forward with their lives.

In summary, I cannot stress enough how important it is to prioritize your mental and emotional well-being when seeking employment. This company offers a toxic, unhealthy environment characterized by micromanagement, a lack of support, favoritism, and broken promises. If you value respect, integrity, and a supportive workplace, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Your career and peace of mind are too valuable to waste on this company. Consider this a friendly warning: steer clear and pursue opportunities where you will truly be valued and supported.

Core and Capacity do not provide a safe work environment. They allow participants to abuse their workers. Management are manipulative towards workers and show clear favouritism. They hold an expectation that the clientele have more power than the workers when it comes to anything. The constant gossip among the management is extremely toxic. They call outside work hours and harass you if you don’t pick up their calls. Management will lie to you about the participants, yet expect you to know their care plans. There is no privacy, there are cameras in most rooms along with the staff room (except the common room with the most violent participants). All management leave site in the afternoon and do not pick up your calls even in emergency situations. DO NOT WORK HERE. 

Worst company however good participants and workers. Honestly management is a let down and I hope they meet the right person to take it up  to court. They are 
 so dodgy and unprofessional especially with medication if you work here make sure to screenshot all your messages with management and also the group chat in case they start to pin things against you. You're also so disrespectful and people speak for themselves. Participants are always complaining to workers about the treatment of management and I hope and pray that this is reported. So unacceptable, however the participants and workers are amazing. That's the only thing to enjoy.


Core and capability is the worse company I have ever worked for. Firstly, they did not provide proper orientation. Instead, I was given a 10-minute tour of the place and was expected to be confident and start working immediately. Moreover, management was extremely terrible and would micro-manage everything for example, how tight our pants were. Moreover, they would constantly change our rosters without notice or permission. For example, they would randomly remover my shifts without notice or given me a shift without my consent. They also showed favouritism towards senior works and everybody else was treated like they were replaceable.  

Toxic environment lacking in any ethical work culture,seriously unprofessionally managed misleading very outdated advertising overpriced accommodation. New staff and participants leave with huge turnover due to bad reputation in the industry Under audio visual surveillance  no laughter ridiculous staff uniforms , cult like environment designated car parking for staff who have no pride rumour mongering and back stabbing  just a very sad desperate place with under qualified 


I strongly discourage considering this place for employment or residence. The management displays a lack of concern for their staff and clients, seemingly prioritizing financial gains over providing the service participants rightfully deserve. Staff turnover is high, likely due to a toxic work environment. Moreover, there is an issue of privacy as there are cameras with audio recording installed throughout the premises, including staff rooms and common areas, which may raise legal concerns.

- they will give you good hours if your new if you stay for more than 2 months you will now get lesser hours and more to new applicants .. 
- all good workers left the premises
- salary isnt the same for all
- they will remove the shift last minute without you knowing
- goodluck to new applicant. Happy to disappointments..

This organization is utterly unfit to operate any business involving vulnerable individuals or people in general. I hope management understands that annual police checks alone will not secure the NDIS registration they desperately seek. Instead, I hope they come to realize how inadequate and irresponsible their actions are.

It’s so family orientated and management really do understand family outside work hours. They understand me and management are so friendly and caring. Core and capacity is such a great place to work cause you always still find time for yourself during work hours 

I feel for the participants. They are terrified of management . The Support workers really care for the clients. Management does not.
My experience working for this company was utterly terrifying. They don’t care about their beautiful clients or workers
