All staff says within the company “someone is always watching you.” for starters…
you have to record your toilet breaks and label them unauthorised to the entire office on a groupchat through computers. don’t align with fair work but applause to them for getting away with their various unethical tactics for so long. they’ll shove down your throat you are one big family too...haha… you have to have meetings to discuss your sick days, i mean if you take one sick day they have a ‘welcome back meeting’ with you. the job is also a lot more than what it is made out to be. definitely don’t recommend unless you’re a robot or are very desperate for the money- i stayed for a few weeks then left along with other people in my training group leaving shortly after so i’ve heard.

CSD Management: a masterclass in making consultants feel like replaceable parts. Zero support, total micromanagement, and leaders who clearly have favourites. Consultants are burning out, and the only thing keeping some sane is the crew they are  venting with.

CSD Management: Can you hear the consultants screaming for help? Give them training, give them support, give them autonomy. Fix the culture. Seriously, what's the plan to stop consultants from fleeing?

If you are a consultant there, hang in there, and keep supporting each other. Hopefully, someone's listening.

I worked at Auto and General for 6.5 years and was the oldest one in the company.  I found them very fair and enjoyed working as part of a team
I worked both in inbound and outbound and enjoyed the challenges between the teams.  We would also receive gifts for selling the most policies
The company provided a great Christmas party each year, no expense was spared.
I made a few good friends in the company who I still see today.
If going through a tough time with KPI's,  Team leaders  would encourage us to work through the areas we had difficulty with.
I miss working there as the I enjoyed the work.
 

Over worked have to  tell everybody by online chat you are going to the toilet.Respect is non existent throughout the organisation, from the top to the toes. The training is dismal and you're expected to perform without any tools to help you succeed. The hiring process is frantic, resulting in a high turnover of incompetent staff who are not suitably qualified for their role. Those that are qualified and suitable move on swiftly after realising the frustration of incompetent leadership.

I felt like I was forced to leave due to a illness that I had.  Management seemed to care but realistically I think they just wanted me out as I was a becoming a burden on the company,  I was with them for nearly 10 years and no one has contacted me since leaving to see how I am doing.  I bit depressing really seeing as they 'acted' like they where doing what was best for me and really did care.  Didn't even give me a proper send off or a card of thank you.

Company culture,Training and Development.Pays well.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Compliance and calls heavily monitored.Heavily regulated industry 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Reasonably fair,great team morale,learning and development 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Multiple calls processing claims end to end.

This company has to be the worst company I've ever worked at. Extremely micromanaging down to the very second, uneducated and insensitive when it comes to mental health, insufficient training and favouritism. You're treated based on how they feel about you. I would advise that you avoid working here for the sake of your mental health.

This was a great time in my life  I only wish I could have stayed until I retired.

The Non Executive Directors were fantastic but the Executive Directors were changing frequently.

It was hard to establish the true direction and strategy of the MD/CEO.

The input of some younger directors did not appreciate all the work long term staff member contributed to the business.

For the 7.5hrs a day you work you're trying to help customers as much as you can but are still dependant on processes and other teams that slow everything down. I've learnt very little since I started here and pleas to management fall on deaf ears. The workplace culture is one of cliques and shallowness. The most enjoyable part of work is going home.

It was awful. they time you when you go to the bathroom. the left hand doesn't talk to the right hand. management was horrible to deal with. the person who trained us was hating the job too and they didn't/couldn't  disclose some of the not so nice things. soul sucking work. The burn out is real.
