Role:
In this pivotal role, you will assume an on-site position, collaborating directly with our esteemed client throughout their extensive multi-year program. You will play an integral role in enhancing and revitalising their financial market infrastructure platform, which is approaching its end-of-life phase. Leveraging your expertise across Java, React, Kafka, AWS, and Python, you will spearhead the design and implementation of advanced functionalities aimed at upgrading, modernising, and re-platforming critical technology components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of the financial market infrastructure platform.
- Collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Driving the end-to-end development life cycle, from conception to deployment, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Utilising your proficiency in Java Microservices to architect robust and efficient back-end systems.
- Harnessing your front-end expertise in React to craft intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
- Leveraging AWS cloud services to optimise performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Employing data modelling techniques to ensure the integrity and efficiency of data storage and retrieval processes.

Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of demonstrable experience in Java Microservices development.
- Proficiency in front-end development utilising React framework.
- Extensive knowledge of banking and capital market domains, with a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and requirements.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
