We are a fast-growing PR and marketing agency that is expanding into the APAC region with a focus on Australia, Singapore and HK markets. We are seeking energetic, results-oriented communications professionals to join our Sydney-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for senior communications practitioners with a minimum of eight years’ experience who want to work with some of the world’s leading investment managers, banks, asset owners, wealth groups, crypto firms and fintech innovators across Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Ideal candidates will have prior experience at a communications consultancy, preferably having worked with a range of corporate, financial or technology clients.
You will be a polished professional with strong financial sector insights and impeccable written and verbal communications skills.
Requirements
This is a fast-paced and varied role ideally suited to a senior communications professional looking to take on new challenges and hone their strategic capabilities, team management and client relationships skills.
While the role is hands-on in creating and delivering strategic communications programs for clients, you will also be contributing to developing best-practice standards across the agency, as well as helping drive new business growth in Australia as well as across APAC markets.
Specific requirements include:
- A genuine interest in and understanding of economics / financial markets.
- Deep experience working in a communications consultancy, in-house communications, press office or fast-paced media environment.
- Ability to lead and manage client service teams including providing senior strategic communications counsel and issues management guidance, as well as oversee strategy development. Strong relationship management and client interaction skills are essential.
- Strong and flexible writing / communications skills across a range of mediums.
- Able to demonstrate senior media relations experience and ideally bring current media relationships across financial press.
- Able to contribute to new business opportunities, either through building existing client relationships or sourcing and pitching.
- Foster the growth and development of team members.
- Candidates with M&A / transaction experience a benefit.
- Media training as well as language skills a bonus.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications with either communications or financial / business / economics focus.
