About this opportunity:
We are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to work within our talented Pastry team. Join our world-class culinary brigade who thrive on a positive team culture and innovation. You will assist to supervise and manage aspects of the delivery of our Pastry product, while keeping with our standards of food quality and compliance. Key responsibilities will include:

Effectively lead and oversee staff management within the Pastry production kitchen.

Provide a high standard preparation for all of our events.

Deliver functions, large scale events, and must be able to manage and facilitate several sections simultaneously.

Plan, coordinate and manage Production schedules, efficient rostering and food preparation at our world-class standards.

Ensuring strict food safety standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques are established and monitored to meet ICC Sydney Brand Standard guidelines and maintained at that level.

Embrace our Feeding Your Performance philosophy with a focus on fresh, seasonal and local artisan produce.

Effectively manage the day-to-day operation of the Production kitchen, food cost, portion control, labour cost, productivity and wastage.

Required Skills & Experience:

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.

Food Safety Supervisor certificate.
