Blackwater: Blackwater is a rural town and locality in the Central Highlands Region, Queensland, Australia. It is a town in a significant coal mining area in Central Queensland. The name of the township was inspired by the dark colour of local waterholes. A Mining town where generally everyone looks out for each other.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager Title, you will be a part of a dynamic and motivated team. The role will require you to:

Ensuring integrity and accuracy of all captured data within the fleet management system
Effectively communicating with key stakeholders to ensure efficient operation during the shift
Monitoring and troubleshooting any problems with the fleet management system on a shift-to-shift basis
Lead by demonstrating behaviour that supports and meets the safety and production standards of Yancoal

Skills and Experience

Essential Criteria:

Sound verbal and written communication skills
Skilled in hazard identification and responsive to safety issues
Basic computer skills word processing and spread sheeting
Thorough understanding of individual responsibilities in relation to the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act and associated regulations.

Desirable Criteria:

S1, S2, S3 and G2 (highly desirable)
