An exciting opportunity exists for a Geologist / Mine Planner to join our Resource Development team. This role offers the chance to contribute across a broad range of technical disciplines, including geology, exploration, resource modelling, mine planning, quarry development, and surveying across our hard rock and sand quarry operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Geologist / Mine Planner, you will:
- Conduct geological mapping, drillhole logging, and support exploration programs.
- Develop and maintain geological and resource models using Leapfrog Geo.
- Prepare quarry designs and development plans using Deswik CAD.
- Assist with resource evaluation, reserve reporting, and operational planning.
- Undertake surveying activities using GPS and drone technology.
- Provide technical support to operational, environmental, and development teams.
- Support geotechnical, compliance, and risk management activities.
- Promote a strong safety culture and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
About You :
- Degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in geology, mine planning, quarrying, or resource development.
- Proficiency in Leapfrog Geo and Deswik CAD or similar.
- Knowledge of drilling programs, geological mapping, and modelling.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
