Sydney Creative is looking for a passionate and versatile Creative Workshop Instructor to join our team! We’re seeking someone with a love for all things crafty, who can turn their hand to a variety of creative projects, and enjoys sharing that passion with others. Our studio offers a range of workshops, including candle making, soap making, paint & sip, and sewing classes, so adaptability and creativity are a must!

About the Role:

As a Creative Workshop Instructor, you’ll be responsible for leading fun, engaging, and hands-on workshops that leave participants inspired and excited. You’ll guide the groups through the creative process, helping them learn new skills in a friendly and welcoming environment.

The studio is generally open in the evenings Monday - Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday. Please ensure evening and weekend work suit your current lifestyle before applying.

Key Responsibilities:

Run a variety of creative workshops with great energy, enthusiasm and patience.
Public speaking is a large part of this role, as you will stand up in front of a room full of people, introducing yourself, the studio, and guiding the class. Having the ability to project your voice with confidence is key.
Be open to undergo training to run different types of activities, this includes but is not limited to Candle Making, Soap Making, Textured Painting, Polymer Clay, Jesmonite, Silversmithing and more.
Run private events for hens parties, birthday parties and team building.
Run mobile sessions off-site at the client's location.
Engage and support participants of all skill levels to ensure they have a fantastic experience
Build a rapport with participants during sessions by engaging in conversation
Prepare materials and ensure the studio is set up for each class
Assist with stock management
Maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the studio
Assist with organising the studio and keeping the place clean and tidy

About You:

Creative and versatile, with a strong passion for crafts and hands-on projects
Excellent communication skills and comfortable leading groups of various sizes
Organised, punctual, and reliable
Willing to pick up evening shifts Mon-Fri, and work weekends.
A team player who can take initiative and is open to learning new skills
A happy, confident and fun individual who goes above and beyond for our customers to ensure they are having a great time
