Full Job Description

Not sure what direction you want to take after school? That’s okay - this could be your fresh start. We’re looking for a junior baker or apprentice to join the team at Groundbake Cronulla, a much-loved local bakery that’s been part of Cronulla’s daily rhythm for over 12 years.

This is a great opportunity for someone who’s eager to learn, open to early starts and ready to get their hands into a bit of everything. You’ll be working alongside a passionate, close-knit team who will support you as you grow in your skills and confidence.

What you’ll get:

· A hands-on learning environment

· A diverse range of products to work with - from artisan sourdough to pastries, cakes and pies

· Flexible shift start times (some early mornings)

· A supportive team that values effort, attitude and growth

· Real connection to the local community

· Weekend work may be required

· For the right candidate, we’ll assist with the TAFE apprenticeship process (1 day per week at TAFE)

· School leavers or anyone at a crossroads, unsure of what’s next

· Someone reliable, motivated and keen to learn a trade

· No prior baking experience necessary - just bring the right attitude
