You will be experienced Business Partner who has actively promoted cultural change and loves to provide a high quality and professional service. This is a great opportunity for a driven P&C professional to own the role and support our people & culture team and broader business during a period of exciting transformation.
This full-time permanent opportunity will be based in our Newcastle office, however, will support a national client portfolio and will be required to travel to interstate offices from time to time.
Your typical day will involve duties such as:
- Be a trusted partner by providing exemplary P&C advice, guidance and solutions as well as coaching to develop people capabilities.
- Actively promote cultural change and support new initiatives as well as ensuring continuous improvement.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring fair people and business outcomes.
- Partner with leaders/managers to provide expert advice on effective workforce planning solutions and organisational structures.
- Provide expert guidance on day-to-day performance management and drive positive changes in the management of people and performance improvement.
- Support the People & Culture Manager in the implementation of the people strategy to embed a strategic and integrated approach across the organisation.
- Work collaboratively with the Talent & L&D team Contribute to key organisational development and change projects and roll out new change initiatives to onboarding, culture, D&I and engagement programs.
- Lead and motivate in the development of innovative and creative approaches to people solutions and build ownership and engagement at all levels.
What are we looking for?
- Demonstrated business partnering experience, delivering high quality, professional and expert P&C advice and services.
- Natural influencer with the ability to coach and inspire people and lead P&C best practice.
- Excellent understanding of contemporary employee relations as well as an understanding of change management principles.
- Innovative and entrepreneurial with a continuous improvement mindset.
- A pragmatic approach to solving problems with the ability to drive and support transformational change and implementing new cultural initiatives.
- Previous experience working within the engineering or professional services industry (desirable)
