Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is seeking a
Security Supervisor to live and work onsite in Yulara, NT—just a 20-minute drive from Uluru, one of Australia’s most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.
We are seeking an experienced and capable Security Supervisor to lead and coordinate the security team, overseeing daily security operations and ensuring safe and effective outcomes across the site, including the capability to respond to incidents and emergency situations.
In this role, you will guide and support a team of Security Officers while maintaining a safe and secure environment through proactive patrols, continuous monitoring, and timely incident response. This includes responding to alarm activations, domestic incidents, noise complaints, and medical emergencies.
You will also be responsible for managing administrative functions related to security operations, including maintaining accurate records in compliance with relevant legislation.
Key Duties
- Monitor guest and resident behaviour, responding to incidents and complaints in a prompt and professional manner
- Conduct patrols (on foot and by vehicle) to ensure the safety of guests, residents, and resort infrastructure
- Manage access control across designated zones, including monitoring the movement of people, vehicles, and goods, ensuring appropriate authorisation
- Identify, manage, and report unauthorised personnel on site
- Maintain and monitor Aviation landside security zone in line with operational requirements
To be considered, you will have:
- Minimum Certificate II in Security with at least 3 years’ experience in a security leadership role
- Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card)
- Ability to obtain and maintain NT Security Officer and Crowd Control licences (interstate mutual recognition accepted)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
- A valid full Australian Driver’s Licence
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (valid for a minimum of 6 months)
Highly Regarded (Desirable):
- Experience in remote or complex operating environments (e.g. mining, university, aviation, or resort settings)
- Experience conducting incident investigations and preparing formal reports
- Ability to lead emergency response and crisis management situations
- Demonstrated experience in training, mentoring, and developing team members
- Qualification in drug and alcohol testing (e.g. HLTPAT010 – Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing)
