As the business expands, we are seeking an experienced ICT Security Specialist to strengthen our cyber security capability and ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of our information systems.
Position Overview
The ICT Security Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the organisation's cyber security framework across all business systems supporting security operations.
The role focuses on protecting critical ICT infrastructure including cloud services, monitoring platforms, CCTV networks, access control systems, mobile workforce technologies and business information systems from cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the company's Information Security Management Framework.
- Perform cyber security risk assessments across business systems and operational technology.
- Design and implement security policies, standards and procedures aligned with recognised cyber security frameworks.
- Monitor ICT infrastructure for cyber threats, malicious activity and security vulnerabilities.
- Implement multi-factor authentication, identity management and privileged access controls.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation activities.
- Manage endpoint security solutions across desktops, laptops and mobile devices.
- Secure cloud-based platforms including Microsoft 365, Azure and operational applications.
- Review and improve security configurations for CCTV networks, alarm monitoring systems and access control infrastructure.
- Coordinate penetration testing and security audits.
- Develop disaster recovery and cyber incident response procedures.
- Investigate cyber security incidents and prepare technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Privacy legislation and cyber security obligations.
- Provide security awareness training to employees.
- Liaise with software vendors and managed service providers regarding ICT security improvements.
- Evaluate emerging cyber security technologies and recommend improvements.

- Industry certifications are desirable (e.g. CISSP, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Security, Azure Security Engineer, Certified Ethical Hacker).
