Tyre Fitter (Junior)

Millard Service Centre has an opportunity for enthusiastic and motivated tyre fitters to join our busy and expanding passenger vehicle workshop team.

To be a successful candidate for this role, it is essential that you are:

Hard working and able to work in a team environment
Reliable and punctual
Prioritise work and meet deadlines
Available to work Saturdays

Candidates must take pride in their work, no prior experience is required. Holding a current drivers licence and forklift licence is favourable. Successful candidates will be offered a competitive remuneration package comparative with experience and skills. Overtime is available.

Sales Representative

Millard Service Centre has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to assist the sales team.

You will be working for a highly reputable independent and family operated business in Yatala providing quality services and products. Millard Service Centre supplies leading tyre brands at competitive prices and specialises in fleet management, servicing retail and business customers across South East Queensland.

The Role
The position is to support the sales and workshop teams, with a focus on driving sales and performance across the team. The role is responsible for supporting the store manager in managing a number of our back-end operations such as inventory, Health & Safety, staff management and administrative processes.

This role covers all customer relations aspects from taking calls, liaising with customers in person, inspecting tyres and providing sound advice and recommendations. Tracking stock levels and re-ordering as required, processing sales and producing invoices.

In order to be successful in this role you will be able to perform the following tasks on your own or with minimal assistance. You will be able to manage staff and customer demands in a reasonable timeframe. Identify additional service offerings that Millard Service Centre may be able to provide to the customer.

The sales representative role is a vital part of the business as you are the face and voice of Millard Service Centre. The customer is relying on you to provide expert advice and organise the service team to deliver our services efficiently and effectively.

To be a successful candidate for this role, it is essential that you are:

Hard working and able to work in a team environment
Reliable and punctual
Schedule, prioritise work and meet deadlines
Experienced in fitting and balancing tyres
Mechanical experience is advantageous but not necessary
Experience in repairing and fitting bobcat, earthmoving & tractor tyres is desirable
IT literate
Previous use of costar software highly favourable
Available to work Saturdays

About You
To be successful in this role, prior retail sales and management experience is required. You will have excellent customer service skills, be self-motivated and have good leadership skills.
A background in the tyre, automotive, mechanical or similar industries would be highly regarded, and a current driver's licence is essential. You will have the ability to provide the best products, prices and advice to our customers at an exciting time for our business.

Experienced Truck Tyre Fitter

Millard Service Centre is an independent and family operated organisation with over 35 years experience, providing quality tyre and mechanical services and products to the general public and commercial customers.

We have an opportunity for a qualified and experienced truck tyre fitter. Overtime hours available. Candidates must be fit and healthy

Millard's prides itself on our ability to meet all customers' demands quickly and efficiently. Due to growing demand we are now seeking the services of a suitably experienced Truck Tyre Fitter.

To be a successful candidate for this role, it is essential that you are:

Hard working and able to work in a team environment
Reliable and punctual
Prioritise work and meet deadlines
Willing to learn and follow instruction
Available to work Saturdays

You must be able to demonstrate good customer services skills as you will be dealing with key clients of the business and their associates.

The successful applicant must have a current licence, a forklift licence is desirable but not necessary and have a flexible approach to their working hours. The start time is 7am (Monday - Saturday) however this may vary occasionally depending on our clients and the requirements of the business.

Successful candidates will be offered a competitive remuneration package, comparative with experience and skills, overtime is available. This is a permanent role that is available for an immediate start. There is the opportunity for you to earn between $65K to $80K per year plus Super if you show the right attitude and motivation towards this role.

Service Fitter

We have an opportunity for a qualified and experienced Service fitter. Overtime hours available. Candidates must be fit and healthy

To be a successful candidate for this role, it is essential that you are:

Extensive knowledge and experience with a variety of tyres
Willing to learn and follow instruction
Available to work Saturdays

You must be able to demonstrate good customer services skills as you will be dealing with key clients of the business and their associates.

Successful candidates will be offered a competitive remuneration package, comparative with experience and skills, overtime is available. This is a permanent role that is available for an immediate start. There is the opportunity for you to earn between $70K to $85K per year plus Super if you show the right attitude and motivation towards this role. A work truck will be provided.

The Role
The position is for a qualified mechanic to support our growing mechanical team. With a strong focus on attention to detail and efficient performance, this role is also responsible for moving Millard to the next level as a renowned automotive service centre in south east Queensland. As well as being hands on with vehicle servicing you will be required to assist with a number of our back end operations such as inventory, Health & Safety, staff management and administration processes to ensure the mechanical workshop runs as efficiently as possible and we offer the best service possible to our clientele.

This role covers all customer relations aspects from taking calls, liaising with customers in person, inspecting vehicles and providing sound advice and recommendations. Tracking stock levels and re-ordering as required, processing sales and producing invoices.

In order to be successful in this role you will be able to perform the abovementioned tasks on your own or with minimal assistance. To be a successful candidate for this role, it is essential that you are:

Qualified mechanic (light vehicle)
Qualified approved examiner advantageous but not a necessity
Reliable and punctual
Schedule, prioritise work and meet deadlines
Experienced in fitting and balancing tyres
Wheel alignment experience advantageous
Experience in repairing wide range of vehicles is desirable
IT literate
Previous use of costar software highly favourable

About You
To be successful in this role, you must be a qualified mechanic with current experience, ideally with 5 or more years full time experience. You will have excellent customer service skills, self-motivated and good leadership skills.
