Elderbloom is now seeking an experience Senior Manager - Projects and Strategy for a newly created role, to support our growing organisation.
Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this role will be responsible for managing and delivering strategic, operational and capital projects. This role ensures projects are effectively planned, executed and embedded into operations which support our organisations growth, regulatory compliance and operational improvement. Leading the Projects Team, they will work closely with the executive team to drive cross-functional initiatives, enhancing service quality, efficiency, compliance and innovation across the organisation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage portfolios of strategic and operational initiatives.

Ensure end-to-end delivery of assigned projects.

Responsible for project planning, stakeholder engagement, risk management, governance, budget oversight, contractor coordination and implementation support.

Work collaboratively with executive team, residential homes, corporate teams and external consultants.

Ensure timely delivery of projects, within budget, minimising disruption and maintaining compliance.

Provide leadership to the Project Officer and act as a central coordination point for organisational projects.
Essential Criteria:
-
Significant experience in aged care or a regulated health or human services environment, with a strong understanding of operations, governance, compliance and accreditation requirements.

3 + plus years' experience in a Senior Project Manager role
- Demonstrated experience delivering large and complex strategic, operational and capital projects.

Strong project and program management capability, including governance, risk management and operational improvement initiatives.

Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage executive-level stakeholder relationships.

Strong digital literacy and experience implementing technology-enabled solutions or systems.

Tertiary qualification in Finance, Project Management, IT or relevant area

Formal project management or change management qualifications.
Desirable:

Experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects, including construction or commissioning of aged care facilities.

Experience working with Boards or governance committees.

Experience in capital budgeting, procurement and contract management.
