POSITION PURPOSE
Reporting to the Wet Plant Supervisor, the Wet Plant Operator is responsible to operate mobile and fixed plant at the highest standard to help ensure the safety, production and maintenance outcomes are met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES | OPERATIONS
· Attending all pre-start and toolbox meetings, and any other relevant meetings as required.
· Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in work areas.
· Performing pre-start inspections and reporting defects on mobile plant and equipment.
· Operating mobile plant and equipment in accordance with GMA procedures.
· Maintain and safely operate the plant by controlling, monitoring, adjusting, fixing, recording, cleaning, and improving all sections of the wet plant.
· Actively participating in all training and verification of competency processes.
· Completing other tasks within training and capability as directed.
· Commit to increasing knowledge and skills in line with GMA’s Competency Matrix
· Safety inspections and other duties as directed
ESSENTIAL/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE :
· A Certificate III in Resource Processing is desirable.
· Operator Tickets for role specific plant and equipment is desirable.
· Possesses equipment operations capabilities and other determined relevant skills that are compliant with the GMA Skills matrix.

• Proven commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for self and others and complying with appropriate safety operating procedures.
· Proven ability to efficiently operate mobile and fixed mining plant in a safe and productive manner.
· Sound interpersonal skills and communication skills including both oral and written.
· Demonstrated experience working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplined team to achieve production and safety goals; or autonomously as required.
· Proven ability to follow instructions and deliver the intended outcome.
· Relevant experience with role-specific plant and equipment, essential.
· Mining industry experience, highly desirable
