Project Administration (Junior)

We're looking for all the usual qualities—organised, reliable, motivated, great attention to detail, able to work independently and as part of a team, and someone with a positive, can-do attitude.

Must haves:

This is an entry-level position, the ideal candidate will be in the final year of, or have recently completed a qualification in Building & Construction, Construction Management, Project Management (Construction) or similar. They will also have some practical exposure to the construction industry, such as through work experience, a cadetship, traineeship, labouring, a trade background, or a junior construction office role.

This role is suited to someone commencing/early in career, who understands construction terminology, can interpret construction drawings, and is eager to establish their career with Weyn Constructions and grow with the business.

If you're already an experienced professional in Construction or Office Administration, this role is unlikely to be the right fit.

About the Role

You'll work alongside all members of the team, helping keep projects organised from start to finish. Think project administration, coordinating documentation, supporting procurement, keeping our systems up to date, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

You'll become one of the people who keeps our projects running behind the scenes—making sure Quality, Safety & Environmental (QSE) documentation is complete, organised and compliant, while learning how successful construction projects are delivered.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting Project Managers and Site Supervisors with day-to-day project administration.
Keeping project documents, registers and systems organised and up to date.
Assisting with subcontractor paperwork, purchase orders and procurement.
Helping coordinate quality, safety and compliance documentation.
Tracking project progress and supporting the team to keep projects running smoothly.
Working with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
