About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Front of House Team Leader (Guest Experience & Sales) to become the face of our restaurant.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences, supporting and motivating our Front of House team, driving sales through upselling, and ensuring smooth day-to-day restaurant operations.
The ideal candidate will come from a retail or customer service background, has a passion for people, enjoys sales, and naturally builds relationships with customers and team members alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and host guests with a warm, professional and energetic attitude.
- Be the first point of contact for Front of House staff during each shift.
- Lead, coach and motivate the Front of House team to consistently deliver exceptional customer service.
- Drive upselling initiatives including beverages, desserts and promotional menu items.
- Ensure every customer receives a memorable dining experience.
- Resolve customer enquiries and complaints professionally.
- Monitor restaurant presentation, cleanliness and service standards.
- Assist with staff training, onboarding and ongoing coaching.
- Coordinate seating arrangements and manage customer flow.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service.
- Monitor team performance and encourage continuous improvement.
- Support restaurant management with daily operations and shift leadership.
About You

- Previous experience in retail, hospitality or customer-facing leadership.

Employment Conditions
This role is employed under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020 or any applicable workplace agreement.
In accordance with the Fair Work Act 2009, the successful applicant will receive:
- A permanent part-time employment contract with guaranteed minimum weekly hours.
- Superannuation paid in accordance with current legislation.
- Annual leave and personal/carer's leave entitlements on a pro-rata basis.
- Applicable penalty rates for weekends and public holidays where required under the Award.
- Overtime payments where applicable.
- Meal and rest breaks in accordance with the Award.
- A safe workplace and appropriate training.
- A roster provided in advance with any changes made in accordance with Fair Work requirements.
